 Thanks for visiting our Donations page! La Luz Center relies on the support of individuals like you in its efforts to build a multicultural community in the Sonoma Valley.
All donations to La Luz are tax deductible. Please choose the type of donation that is most meaningful to you:
1. General Donation:
Make a general donation and join us in promoting a multicultural community in the Sonoma Valley. Your contribution will help provide critical services and education to immigrant families in Sonoma Valley. A general donation allows us to put your donation to work where it is needed most.
2. Monthly Gift:
Monthly giving is an easy way to make a generous donation without making a large outlay of cash at one time. Even $10 each month adds up over the course of the year. You can arrange to have the amount monthly deducted on your charge card. And you can stop your participation at any time by notifying us in writing or by phone.
3. Special Program Donor:
Contribute to a special program. La Luz's Education Program features English and Computer classes, Scholarships & Achievement Awards, a lending library and assistance to parents to improve public education. A donation of $180 pays for a 6 week course in computer literacy for one student. $88 pays for six weeks of English clasess for one student.
About Material Donations
Unfortunately, La Luz Center can not accept material donations such as furniture, clothing or computers. We just do not have the resources to ship, store, and process such items. Please Contact F.I.S.H. (Friends In Sonoma Helping) at (707) 996-0111, which is one of the local charitable agencies that may accept these items. Thank you! |
